Processes

At HGF, we have several different production methods and processes. This gives us the advantage of always being able to choose the processes that are best suited for your particular product. The different processes for rubber processing each have unique advantages and disadvantages, which creates a high degree of flexibility.

Two main steps can be distinguished in rubber manufacturing. The first step consists of mixing process and calendering. This phase of the manufacturing generates a semi-finished product which in the next step can be used in several different processes such as mold curing, extrusion and calendering.

The section on processes gives you an increased understanding of the various manufacturing processes that we use here at HGF. As a comprehensive supplier, we have the opportunity to both suggest and mix suitable materials that are suitable for your particular product, while at the same time choosing a cost-effective process for the molding of rubber.

Compounding

The heart of our business is the mixing process, which gives us a high level of flexibility as we are self-sufficient in mixed rubber. Our material engineers continuously develop recipes for the rubber products that are molded. Curious to know more about the mixing process?

Injection moulding

There are several reasons why the injection molding process is chosen in many cases. In this part you will find out more about these benefits.

Compression moulding

Molding rubber with compression molding is a relatively simple method with many advantages. Compression molding is the first of the various manufacturing processes developed for molding rubber.

Injection transfer moulding

Rubber injection transfer molding is a manufacturing process that combines the advantages of injection molding and compression molding. It enables the manufacture of complex rubber parts where high precision and quality are sought.
